iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus Moves 10 Million Units In 3 Days!!

ifwt_apple_store
Congrats to all that were able to get their hands on the newest iDevices in the Appleshere as the lines were everywhere(radio shack not so much, but I was told they only did reorders) as I trolled the NYC area for lines, movement of lines, and overall stock availability….it was nuts out there!

Now that the official #’s are in for the weekend, we know why it was so cray, 10 Million in 3 days is beyond Apple’s expectations!
“Sales for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus exceeded our expectations for the launch weekend, and we couldn’t be happier,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “We would like to thank all of our customers for making this our best launch ever, shattering all previous sell-through records by a large margin. While our team managed the manufacturing ramp better than ever before, we could have sold many more iPhones with greater supply and we are working hard to fill orders as quickly as possible.”
Althought he excitement for the 6 series was way higher, the 10M’s only reflects 1M more than last years 5S/5c debut.

50 Cent's Grandmother Beulah Jackson Passes Away

50 Cent’s grandmother Beulah Jackson has passed away, according
to VladTV.
50 has long discussed his grandmother’s impact on his life. In
2012, the rapper spoke with Oprah Winfrey about his love and
connection to his grandmother.
“I love my grandmother and my grandfather,” 50 Cent said at the
time. “It’s a different thing with my grandmother. We’ve always had
a connection. I used to sit there and rub on her feet, even paint on
her toenails and stuff like that…For her, I’ll do that, because her
feet swell up.”
During the interview, 50 also said his grandmother is the woman
who loves him the most.
In her own sit-down with Oprah, Beulah Jackson said she didn’t
play 50’s albums, but that she bought the rapper’s projects to help
his sales. Jackson also said she hadn’t attended his concerts
because there were “too many teenagers” present at shows.
Despite this, she said she liked some of his music when she heard
it on the radio. Jackson added that she raised 50 Cent in a
household that prohibited the use of foul language and that he had
to listen to her and to his teachers.
In June 2014, 50 said his first major purchase went to his
grandmother during a Reddit AMA session . The rapper, who bought
her a car, says it was a very important moment in his life.
“It was important to me because she took care of me when I
couldn't take care of myself," he said at the time.
That same month, in an interview with Hot 97 , the emcee explained
that his grandmother had been ill.
"My grandmother was pretty sick recently," he said. "Her actually
being sick, for me, this is the only person who took care of me."
At the time, 50 said he hoped she would recover fully from the
illness.
In the interview, 50 also added that his grandmother was his soft
spot.

(Babaric)Nigeria Sentences 12 Soldiers To Death For Mutiny.

A military court-martial has sentenced 12 Nigerian soldiers to death after they were found guilty of committing mutiny in Maiduguri, Borno State last May.
On 14th May 2014, a group of soldiers fired shots at Maj-Gen Ahmadu Mohammed, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 7th Division, at Maiduguri’s Maimalari Barracks. The soldiers becameangry when they saw the bodies of 12 of their colleagues being brought back from Chibok, where they were killed by militants who ambushed a convoy of soldiers returning from anti-terrorism duties.
The mutineers shot several times into the air and called senior officers “cowards”, accusing them of deliberately putting them in harm’s way.
The following day, the GOC of the barracks was removed.
However, the court martial, which was led by Brigadier-General Chukwuemeka Okonkwo, sitting at Mogadishu Cantonment in Abuja from Monday night to Tuesday morningnsentenced 12 of the 18 soldiers to death by firing squad,
The 12 soldiers were pronounced guilty of the offences of mutiny and criminal conspiracy to commit mutiny are Cpl Jasper Braidolor, Cpl David Musa, LCpl Friday Onun, LCpl Yusuf Shuaibu, LCpl Igomu Emmanuel, Pte Andrew Ngbede, Pte Nurudeen Ahmed, Pte Ifeanyi Alukhagbe, Pte Alao Samuel, Pte Amadi Chukwudi, Pte Allan Linus, and LCpl Stephen Clement
The court martial found five other soldiers innocent of all five counts of insubordinate behaviour, false accusation, mutiny, AWOL and conduct to the prejudice of service discipline. Therefore, they were discharged and acquitted.
The five acquitted soldiers are Cpl David Luhbut, Cpl Muhammed Sani, Pte Iseh Ubong, Pte Sabastine Gwaba and Pte Inama Samuel.
The 18th soldier, Privatwe Ichocho Jeremiah, was found guilty of going AWOL (absent without leave) and he was sentenced to 28 days in prison with hard labour.
Jeremiah was also found guilty of conduct to the prejudice of service discipline, but he was only reprimanded for this offence.
